What’s Our Story?

Couch Potatoes Gaming was forged during the heart of the pandemic when everyone was locked away at home and soon began to run out of options for entertainment. The founders of CPG were a part of a Madden 21 Connected Franchise Mode league, and eventually over time they were granted admin privileges to help run that league. Over time that league started to fizzle out and the emergence of CPG was starting to form. In April of 2021 CPG was officially established with a unique framework for Madden 21 CFM leagues.

CPG was created to give users a well organized and competitive Esports experience that users wanted to consistently be a part of for not only the gaming aspect but more importantly the sense of community and networking. CPG has become its own social networking platform where lifelong friendships have formed from members who were complete strangers once. We believe competition is why people come to play but the community is why users stay.

Since Inception, CPG has transformed from a small community base of 50-75 users that congregated daily. To now a service based organization aimed at connecting competitive gamers with league organizers to facilitate community building quickly. Our aim is to give users a point of reference on available leagues/communities and also provide league organizers with exposure and reach to ensure they keep their communities/leagues filled with active and engaging users.
